Qaaqaaiyet El Snoubar, Sidon District, Southern Lebanon

MS House is a compact two-story residence designed for a small family, located in the village of Qaaqaaiyet El Snoubar in southern Lebanon. The project responds to its rural context through a restrained scale and a clear functional organization that balances privacy and openness.

The ground floor accommodates the public and semi-public functions, including a reception hall that extends toward the garden and outdoor terrace, a kitchen, and a guest bedroom. Private family spaces are arranged on the upper level, which includes two children’s bedrooms and a master bedroom overlooking the front garden.

The architectural expression adopts a contemporary language while remaining sensitive to the surrounding landscape. Carefully proportioned volumes and a limited material palette—combining stone cladding with treated iron elements—anchor the house within its environment, while subtle modern detailing reflects the youthful character and lifestyle of its occupants.
